Divine Encounter 3

A Divine EncounterThis is the last of the current series. We are going to look at the life of Saul/Paul in Acts 9.

Saul was a great persecutor of the Church, he wrought havoc in the body of Christ such that the disciples had to flee and hence scattered everywhere which in turn enabled the gospel to spread in Acts chapter 8. What the enemy meant for evil God turned it around for good. It was whilst carrying on with this agenda of persecuting the church on his way to Damascus that the Lord met with Paul.

Divine Encounter 2

A Divine Encounter Moses was another person who had a Divine Encounter in Exodus chapter 3.

Moses was in exile at this point in his life. He ran away after killing an Egyptian and was under the death threat from pharaoh yet suffered rejection from his people whom he had taken sides with. It must have been a confusing and lonely state. The only thing that must have been a source of comfort for him at this time must be his marriage to Ziporah albeit not such a comfortable living arrangement. I am not sure many men would like to live and work for their father in laws. Most men would prefer to whisk their women away into their castle be it a one bedroom apartment or 5 bedroom house and be the lord of the castle with no interference. What a humbling experience, no wonder the bible describes him as the meekest man. He has gone through the school of hard knocks. Now another chapter of his life is about to begin.

Divine Encounter Series 1

Ministry of The WordOn September 20th 2009, I began the Divine Encounter Series 1.  Luke 5: 1-11.

Even though I shared the same passage last week at another service, the Lord gave me a fresh Rhema for Good News Assembly (GNA).

Divine Encounter is when Divinity comes into contact with humanity.

The timing of the encounter is known to God. He does the visitation, ours is to be open, embrace and welcome Him. The first series is Peter’s encounter with the Lord Jesus.

Ministering at Westbury Baptist Church London

Ministry of The WordOn 13th September 2009 I was privileged to minister at Westbury Baptist Church, Wood Green in London.

The topic was Power in the word. Luke 4:42 to Luke 5:1-11.  It is time to elevate the ministry of the word. One of the things that is foremost in Jesus’ ministry is the preaching of the word.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me to Preach the gospel to the poor, He has sent me to heal ……

We can see from the above scripture, the Word  preceded the miracles. It is the foundation of His ministry and we need to get back to it.

September 09: A Month of Delivery

New BeginningsComing into September 2009, after a successful Women of Purpose and Influence convention in August, 7th to 9th, and my visit to Nigeria to see my grandma, end of August, I asked myself, “what next?” It resonates in my spirit that this month is going to be the month of delivery, a month of fruitful manifestation. September is month nine. 9 is very symbolic in that women give birth in month 9 with some exceptions. We are also in 2009. So I believe there is double anointing to give birth this month.

Two sites have been delivered this month – ToyinJama.com and FreshStartMentoring.com, thanks to midwife Trish Jones, who did an excellent and brilliant job in helping me to deliver, including hosting me at her house, I was spoilt. She helped me clarify my presence on the NET.
